How cool would it be to have the ability to zap people in Signal messenger or Matrix. They'll never implement it but I love the idea. For instance my friend just did me a favour and I wanted to zap them but I couldn't. I might investigate into whether Matrix can support this through third-party integrations. I can code a bot to pick up on reactions and zap from a sandboxed wallet at the very least. The issue is getting my friends on the lightning network xD

Does anybody know any sources of good news? I'd like to start a new account which pushes positive content regularly. It will include good news, games, challenges, quotes and all sorts of feel good material. I'm thinking of calling it "The Happy Nostrich" and I might setup a domain as well at some point.

I just thought I'd let everyone know that if ever need to verify my identity you can use my PGP key curiio@liberal.dev If this account was ever compromised - which is quite possible given Nostr's inherent security issues - then I'll refer back to this post on a new account and just sign any messages with PGP

In 2017 Radiohead supposedly got hacked. Attackers managed to steal recordings of sessions from their OK Computer album and threatened to release them to the public if the band didn't pay 150,000 quid. Radiohead went "fuck that" and released them on Bandcamp for £18 with all the profits going to the climate activist group Extinction Rebellion. I've been listening to the session recordings and they're sooo good. Its amazing to hear how these songs have developed and the band experimenting mid song, laughing, messing around or just eating crisps xD I managed to find them on The Internet Archive so if anyone wants the link lemme know. @inpc I was thinking these would go down great if I ever make a guest mix for The Kalimera Show - which I'd love to do by the way; currently my friend in London has my mics though :/

As not many of you know me in real life I thought I'd put a name to the face. I've pretty much accepted that I'm an open source human bean now days. Here are some recent pictures:

Does anybody have any good ideas for the following domains? Best idea wins! - liberal.wiki - liberal.guide - stopreform.com - stopreform.uk - stopreform.co.uk - fuckreform.uk - fuckreform.co.uk - stopthetories.net - fuckproject2025.org I’m going to post this on some other platforms too. If you’re looking for some inspiration: it could be a website featuring a corruption timeline, a forum, a censorship resistant social media, a poster, a wiki on how to circumvent censorship and rise against the far right, collection of news articles and archived documents, a Nigel Farrage meme maker. The floor is yours! Please repost!!

Big question, do we want Nostr to become mainstream and have an open, decentralised internet? Is that the problem we're trying to solve? Or does everybody just like having a small community like the old days of the internet #asknostr #nostr #socialmedia #mainstream

I wonder what the likelihood is that my private key has been compromised. When I began using Nostr I tried out quite a few different clients before adopting a signing extension. Now days I use remote signing. However there's always that part of me that is pretty sure the whole thing is pointless and there's a malicious client out there already which has gone and snatched it up!
