We stocked up on so much amazing food at the bitcoin farmers markets in Costa Rica that I never even made it to a restaurant to try gallo pinto...but I managed to get a prepacked, reheated dish at the airport on our way out (which i'm sure is nowhere near as good, but I still really enjoyed it!) I did some prenatal yoga for the first time in a few days, and IMMEDIATELY my body wanted some fruit or dairy. My husband the hero actually walked down the road to the store even though it's sooo hot & humid & raining here, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! What did I do to deserve this man

Air conditioning could have been a great invention but people have totally ruined it by overusing it. If it's 90 outside WHY is it 60 inside when we are all wearing shorts???? —sincerely, a freezing cold girl with ice blocks for feet who's literally about to go outside to be comfortable except there's too many mosquitoes

Costa Rica is so humid and so full of big scary bugs that I just don't have the energy to be anxious about anything anymore. Who knew heat could be such a chill pill. Texas heat doesn't bother me, Florida heat doesn't bother me, but I guess i've found my limit here, and it's still only the dry season.

I always opt out of the scanners at the airport for a pat down instead, but honestly every TSA lady that's helped me has been very nice and respectful about it and it's always worth it to exercise that choice and avoid the extra radiation.
