Is anyone buying things in advance to prepare for tariffs? If so what?

Who here still thinks the tariffs will work? Who thinks they won't work but would have had there been better execution? Who was a yuuuuge fan and is now conspicuously silent?

For all the indignities Peter Schiff has endured (mostly deserved), he must be enjoying his time in the sun right now. Gold hitting all time highs and bitcoin at "only" 85k. How many reclusive kooky gold bug boomers right now feel wonderful? You know what, I'm happy for them.

Not many things inspire as much Nostalgia and respect as the old Nokia brick phones. Effortless to use. Satisfying to click. Sturdy. Incredible battery life. Cheap. Also conjures up memories of pre-smart phone. You had communication freedom without the mind altering effects of smart phone.

Whatever happened to cutting the defense budget? Guess we gotta just keep trusting the plan...

What potential actions/strategy are going to work in Yemen this time vs the last 6 years? Was Saudi Arabia/UAE really holding back? Was the US under Biden? Serious question.

Crazy what's going on in Yemen. I thought i was promised no new wars. Oh well, guess this one doesn't count.
