I love these guys. They're some of my favorite voices in this space. But I'm of the opinion that you can't be rid of horrible platforms like the X's and Meta's of the world if people are still using them. If leaving means you leave a void behind and your audience shrinks, then so be it. Let the cesspool that is left over there to rot. But at the end of the day, you can't rail against these centralized services that are built to exploit and surveil while continuing to use and enable their continuance.
