⭕️ Officially, Israel has gained full influence over southern Syria ——— 💯 The security agreement between Ahmad al-Shar’a and Israel, under Israel’s conditions, as published by the Washington Institute: Southern Syria will be divided into three zones as follows: 1 - The first zone, in light blue, is the buffer area that Israel took control of after the fall of Assad’s regime on December 8, 2024. It stretches from southern Quneitra countryside up to Mount Hermon in the north, with a depth of 2 km, and will be overseen by the United Nations. 2 - The second zone, in yellow, starts from western Daraa countryside up to western Damascus countryside, and will be a completely demilitarized area. 3 - The third zone extends from eastern Daraa province, through southern Damascus countryside, all the way to al-Suwayda province, and will be designated as a no-fly zone. And here is the map. 👇🏻 image

After World War II, the famous Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov fell in love with the American drink Coca-Cola. But drinking it openly was considered embarrassing, since Coca-Cola was seen as a symbol of “Western imperialism.” So Zhukov asked the Americans for an innovative solution: to produce a transparent Coca-Cola that looked like vodka! And indeed, in 1946, special batches of “White Coca-Cola” were made just for him, becoming one of the strangest stories of the Cold War—where personal taste met diplomacy in a bottle of soda. image

In 1989, as part of an unusual barter deal prompted by restrictions on foreign currency in the Soviet Union, Pepsi received 17 old submarines (including diesel-powered ones), along with a cruiser, a frigate, and a destroyer, in exchange for supplying Pepsi syrup concentrate to the Soviet market. The fleet Pepsi acquired was among the largest temporary naval forces in the world, to the extent that a Pepsi executive jokingly remarked that they were “disarming the Soviet Union faster than the U.S. government.” The company did not keep these naval vessels; they were quickly resold to a Norwegian or Swedish firm for scrapping, and were never used for military or actual transport purposes. image

Fidel Castro was known for his immense passion for ice cream and dairy products, to the point that this obsession became part of his legendary persona. His friend, writer Gabriel García Márquez, recounted that Castro once managed to devour 18 scoops of ice cream in one sitting after lunch. This passion did not escape the attention of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which tried to exploit it in one of its assassination attempts. The agency tasked a waiter at a Havana hotel with trying to poison Castro’s favorite chocolate milkshake. But the plan failed, adding to the long record of bizarre and unsuccessful attempts to eliminate him. image

More than 50 ships are now heading simultaneously toward Gaza... Today, the sea tells the greatest of stories: over fifty vessels carving their way together toward Gaza, as if the waves themselves have aligned to carry with them a message of life and hope to a people facing death at every moment.

It is promoted that Hamas is a foreign body injected into the Palestinian cause, while in reality it is an authentic extension of the Palestinian resistance rooted for 76 years. The entire issue is reduced to the events of October 7, whereas resistance is nothing but a natural response to the occupation’s crimes and massacres that have continued since its inception.

Eitan was one of the four officers killed today in the explosion of a Hummer jeep south of Rafah by an IED, among them a platoon commander. A condolence statement was issued and published by the Settlements Council in the West Bank. From this statement, we can better understand how they take pride in such figures and how their community thinks and feels. The statement says: “Eitan grew up in a family of values and Zionism, a son of the Torah, a strong believer in the idea of settlement in the Promised Land, a frontline fighter, devoted, and naturally he and his wife chose to build their home in the settlement of Har Bracha. At their wedding, they set up a special memorial for the fallen and their friends. Our hearts are broken for his youth, and for the family that was meant to flourish here in Samaria (the West Bank) but now will not. His beloved Atara, daughter of a well-established family in Har Bracha, who grew up here, brought him here to Samaria (the West Bank), and now we must accompany him on his final journey.” A “Zionist, son of the Torah, believer in the idea of settlement in the Promised Land ‘from the Nile to the Euphrates,’ a fighter, living in an illegal settlement in the West Bank, his family were the ones who brought him into settlement there.” And yet when a Palestinian is religious, a believer in liberation, a resistor, and wants to return to his homeland ,he is labeled a “terrorist”?!
