On October 13, 2023, at the beginning of the genocide, occupation warplanes bombed a truck carrying displaced people from northern Gaza to the south. A short while ago, the occupation repeated the same crime against a family at Ansar Roundabout west of the city while they were on their way south. The two incidents took place during the height of the first and second waves of displacement. You may ask: why does the occupation kill those who are evacuating, even though it demands that they evacuate? The answer is simple: Israel wants to kill, and it practices killing with brutality, monstrosity, arrogance, and deep-seated hatred. Israel does not want them alive, nor does it want them dead easily.
