Virginia governor amends the assault weapons ban to broaden restrictions. The DOJ is watching, and a showdown looms on April 22.

In response to AAG Dhillon's warning that the Justice Department would sue if the Virginia governor signed a bill that unconstitutionally infringed on the right to keep and bear arms... Gov. Spanberger decided to double down and expand the restrictions in the AWB she amended and sent back to the legislature.
