Self-custody of your #bitcoin is always important. However, during times of large increases in purchasing power it becomes more prevalent.
Many people buy bitcoin through an exchange and the exchanges have withdraw limits. As the price pumps you may find yourself unable to withdraw all funds to self-custody!
Stay ahead of it and sweep to self-custody often.
