Interesting, JS/TS are getting C#-style `using` directives for more explicit memory management. This standard is available now in both Deno and V8 runtimes. The ubiquity of JS/TS throughout the web now, even in server-side code, seems to be driving the demand for such features.

Everyone wants to be a vibe coder, but no one wants to be a 10x Test-Driven Developer. Open a project. Write tests. Make the LLM iterate until all the tests pass. Rinse and repeat. Heck, why have the LLM write human-readable code at all? Just have it crank out Assembly until it passes the tests. But everbody hates tests...

@General Ned Ludd I recall a few months back you said something like "AI is really good at quickly generating large amounts of legacy code." I find that to be a very helpful framing, and I use that like with my coworkers frequently.
