I was at the testimony for three bills in House committee yesterday. Two were about domestic violence related topics. And women gave testimony crying about their own abuse stories. And then the committee vote11-0, and these women recounting their abuse and crying in public didn’t change anyone’s vote. It’s all a humiliation and abuse ritual.
