Is there a way to power-up and down an S9 / S19 gently with home assistant? Rather than just turning on/off the mains switch and stressing the ASICs?

Hmm also making this mistake. I should have saved more cash. Smarter Web Company (I know, I know) was supposed to be my middle finger-to -the-tax-man/bitcoinish fiat supplier! Doh. 🙄😅😜

I built an AI bot that will help my sixth form students to improve their writing using Open WebUI. I hosted it the model I developed on a laptop and connected it with a remote LLM using @PayPerQ
Works great in principal: Instant feedback and constructive criticism. It using the Socratic Method and prompts the students to write rather than giving them the answer. Its GDPR compliant too.
Problem is the bandwidth on my LAN. 20 students using my 5G router for a connection falls over.
An easy fix: host my tutor on a VPS with an easy URL for the students to access via school network.
But this requires permission from the administrators. They are insisting everyone uses Microshaft Copilot.
Any other solutions?
