God Almighty, Exalted is He, said regarding obligatory charity (Zakat):
{Charities are only for the poor and the needy, and those employed to collect them, and those whose hearts are to be reconciled, and for freeing captives, and for those in debt, and for the cause of God, and for the wayfarer. This is an obligation from God. And God is Knowing and Wise.} (Surah At-Tawbah, verse 60)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained that the meaning of “for the sake of God” is not limited to fighting, but includes everything that supports the truth and serves good. Generally, through money, words, or good deeds.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, your hands, and your tongues.” He also said: “The best form of jihad is a word of truth spoken in the presence of a tyrannical ruler.” He further explained: “The master of martyrs is Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, and a man who stood before a tyrannical ruler, commanded him to do good and forbade him from doing evil, and was killed for it.”
It is clear from this that jihad in the path of God encompasses every sincere endeavor to uphold truth and preserve dignity. One aspect of this jihad is supporting charitable, humanitarian, relief, and educational projects that preserve human dignity and alleviate the suffering of the oppressed and needy.

You can donate ETH via the Ethereum core network or any of the aforementioned Layer 2 networks, or with other EVM-compatible tokens such as BNB, MATIC, and AVAX, provided you select the correct network in your wallet or platform to avoid losing the funds.
It is preferable to use stablecoins because they maintain a fixed value, usually equivalent to one US dollar, ensuring the stability of your donation and avoiding market fluctuations.
