If you wanted to control bitcoin you would add regulations, surveillance, bad press, CBDCs, Saylors, ETFs, or try a hard fork. But you would never think of infiltrating Core.

Interfacing with AI linearly through a chat is suboptimal for many tasks. At some point we will look back and ask ourselves how we worked like this. Moreover, the default chat experience is bad in itself: - Answers as walls of text, so you have to hunt for the useful or actionable bits - Language that feels foreign and most (normal) work colleagues would ever use When you aggregate hundreds of these interactions daily (not to mention context switching - another topic) it becomes exhausting. I am no UX designer but experimenting with a non-linear, interactive mode for working on documents, as well as a "slop condom" skill that takes the best of: caveman, fuck slop, the ADHD one, and simplified technical English. Both can work independent of each other but put together looks promising.

Tokenmaxxing is the same "flex" as headcount in vc backup startups. Use AI but never forget to put care and taste in what you build.

BIP-110 appears to potentially cause issues while not actually fixing the spam problem, but I don't know enough. What I do know is there are many shady characters behind anti-BIP-110, and that raises suspicion.

I doubt bitcoin will survive long term. It's too dependent on humans. Just like you couldn't fabricate a covid global hysteria in 1950, you can't change bitcoin consensus today. If inflation ever becomes a thing of past generations, that culture can (and will) be brainwashed into changing consensus "for the greater good" or whatever. Physical gold might still be a thing, though. I hope I'm wrong.

Third post that gets swallowed by Amethyst, disappearing into the void @Vitor Pamplona . Is it not confirming relay reception and otherwise keep in drafts? I'm on the latest but it's been happening for a few versions already.

Icing on the cake, a monumental widespread loss of coin privacy for every sweeped wallet regardless of funds, undoing years of coin control. Could put some people at risk.

I still don't get it. I always assumed "someone" in the security space was always looking. And I don't understand how those coins survived years with such shit entropy. Being aware of the bug was not a prerequisite. View quoted note โ†’
