Politics is sold the same way cable is: package deals. The real world doesn’t work that way. I prefer to shop a la carte. On an issue by issue basis. It can make voting difficult (no longer an issue for me) but there is a lot less cognitive dissonance.

Trying out Luwian camera app out after seeing the ads online. It’s $12.99, which for some reason I find comforting (no micros, no subs). It gives you incredibly fine grained control of the cameras. Lots of features. And it bypasses Apples photo algorithms as it uses the direct device apis. There are two features that fascinate me: - HDR photography with full bracket control - The ability to record two of the main cameras and the front camera at the same time (video). Seems like something that would be great for a content creator. I’ll be posting examples over the next few weeks as I experiment, but I can already tell that there’s untapped potential in the 15 Pro Max’s sensors just based on my initial tinkering.
