Looks like the Crowdstrike incident was caused by a null pointer. They use C++, and of course now the Rust cultists are having a wonderful day chanting “rewrite it in Rust!” which I’m not sure, but I think saying that violates that freakshow’s trademark rules. 🤣 Nice explainer here:
