It strikes me tonight that a world where people have the leisure to argue about websockets or operating systems, programming languages and politics, music and money, is a pretty fucking awesome world.
We’d be out hoping we killed the mammoth before getting trampled not that long ago.

Looks like the Crowdstrike incident was caused by a null pointer. They use C++, and of course now the Rust cultists are having a wonderful day chanting “rewrite it in Rust!” which I’m not sure, but I think saying that violates that freakshow’s trademark rules. 🤣
