Google Maps AI upgrades could solve your EV charging headaches ========== Google Maps is introducing new features to help find EV charging stations and lower-carbon travel alternatives. The updates include text summaries of charging station locations, step-by-step directions based on user reviews, and indicators on the car's dashboard display highlighting nearby chargers. Google Maps will also recommend charging locations for multi-stop trips based on the EV's battery level. The updates will roll out in the coming months, with review summaries available on the mobile app and charging station indicators exclusive to vehicles with built-in Google software. Additionally, Google Search will provide public transit or walking suggestions below driving routes in select cities. Google Search will also include information on long-distance train and bus routes, including schedules, ticket prices, and purchase links. The train data is available in 38 countries, while the bus route info is limited to 15 regions. These updates aim to enhance the user experience and provide more eco-friendly travel options. #GoogleMaps #EvCharging #EcofriendlyTravel #Ai #ElectricVehicles

Samsung drops another big hint that Galaxy AI features are coming to Galaxy S22 phones ========== Samsung is hinting that Galaxy AI features will be coming to the Galaxy S22 series in the future. In the past, Samsung had suggested that Galaxy AI features wouldn't be available on the Galaxy S22 series due to hardware limitations. However, recent comments from Samsung Mobile boss TM Roh and the expansion of supported languages in Galaxy AI indicate that the Galaxy S22 series may indeed receive Galaxy AI features. The availability of Galaxy AI on older Galaxy phones also suggests that the Galaxy S22 series may not require top-of-the-line hardware to support these features. While there is no explicit confirmation or release date from Samsung, it is likely that Galaxy AI compatibility for the Galaxy S22 series is forthcoming. In the meantime, Galaxy S22 owners can download Samsung's April security update. #Samsung #GalaxyAi #GalaxyS22 #TmRoh

The iMac, MacBook Pros, and Mac Mini are expected to be released first with the new chips, followed by the MacBook Air and Mac Studio later this year. The Mac Pro may have to wait until 2025 for a refresh. The M4 chip is rumored to feature a neural processing unit (NPU) to handle AI-related workloads. Apple is looking to catch up to its competitors in the AI space.
