If you add the exchange holdings and the ETF holdings you get 18.08% of Bitcoin is not held in self custody. Only 2.69% is. There are 2.1 million Bitcoins held on exchanges and IMO most of those are not for sale. People just leave them there because they don't trust themselves to self custody. This means that the chance of a supply shock is real. That means we could get to 40 or more ounces of gold per Bitcoin. In other words a new Bitcoin all time high.

Measuring ₿itcoin in dollars is a hopeless ritual. Measuring in terms of how many ounces of gold does it take to buy 1 ₿itcoin is the way. Measuring in terms of purchasing power parody is the way. Right now it takes 35.15 ounces of gold to buy 1 ₿itcoin. The all time high was 40 ounces of gold so we are not at an all time high yet.
