I know it’s not very humble sounding. But I’m thinking of taking a loan to buy bitcoin (humbly). I want to short Fiat but can’t buy a house

Also I’ve decided I don’t care if AI takes my job in the next few years. I wanna be here until the end building freedom tech. Once my job is fully taken, the amount of deflation will be insane anyway

I don’t want to own 1 bitcoin / 1m usd if it is a co-opted money

I feel like we need to cling to “secure” and “decentralised” as much as possible these days. Whatever that means #bitcoin

Jeff Booth’s idea of prices falling in bitcoin terms and increasing efficiencies in productivity flowing to the people rather than being siphoned off through debasement has forever changed my view on the world. (And also made me more sad about the system we live in). It’s like one of those things you can’t unsee. When AI opens the trap door and prices fall like crazy I want to not fall with it and reap the rewards of not falling with it.
