Nostr Nengste Learning Hub Activity 4 – Open for All Verified Accounts Theme: Share Your BCHNostr Account Creation Story -- To be honest, I was hesitant to join BCHNostr at first because I had no idea what the community was all about. I didn't want to jump into something without knowing if it was real, so I spent some time researching, reading testimonials, and looking for proof before finally deciding to sign up. Thankfully, @Chucha helped me through the whole process—from creating my account to setting up my Bitcoin wallet and getting my account verified. One of the first things I learned was how important it is to keep my account secure. I made sure to safely back up my recovery phrase/seed phrase, kept it offline, and never shared it with anyone. I also learned that no legitimate community member or admin should ever ask for your private keys or recovery phrase. Once those are exposed, you could lose access to your wallet and your funds. I was really excited to start posting and explore the community right away, but that's when I found out there were posting limits for new users. I won't lie—I felt a little frustrated because I saw so many community activities that I wanted to join, but I had to wait because of the restrictions. Every day, I'd open my feed hoping the posting reminder would finally be gone. When the restriction was finally lifted, it felt like I could finally enjoy the community the way I wanted to. I started joining activities, interacting with other members, and exploring more of what BCHNostr had to offer. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't let my initial hesitation stop me. That first wait was a little frustrating, but it was worth it in the end. If I could give one piece of advice to new users, it would be to take your time and don't be afraid to ask for help. The setup process can seem confusing at first, but there are people in the community who are willing to guide you. It's also a good idea to do a little research before joining so you'll have a better understanding of how BCHNostr works. Most importantly, always prioritize your account's security. Save your recovery phrase in a safe place, never share your private keys or seed phrase with anyone, and double-check links before logging in or connecting your wallet. If you run into posting limits like I did, don't get discouraged. They're only temporary. Use that time to explore the platform, read posts, learn how the community works, and get familiar with the different activities.
