I think BIP-110 is more likely to win than lose but I gotta say that I am disappointed to hear some Plebs saying they will give up on Bitcoin if we lose and will shift to gold or stocks. Those don’t threaten fiat, they strengthen it or caused it. Put more thought into it plz.

Opreturn is best used as a receipt of a transaction (I.e. creating a hash that proves the sale of a house), that's it's basic function to be useful for Bitcoin as money. The spammers are forcing noderunners to store the equivalent of a 10 page long receipt that is full of clipart and other trash. By not using Opreturn to support Bitcoin as money, that is an attack on Bitcoin as money, full stop.
