It's that time of year. Thousands set off every year from Springer Mountain, GA on the Appalachian Trail attempting to hike to Mt Katahdin, Maine, a foot journey of over 2000 miles. Only 1 in 10 make it, including Wonder Woman and I on our honeymoon in 2013. This pic is from a return visit. image

What's the to go-to hot sauce where you live, the one they have on the table at the diner? Here in NC, oddly enough, we have a home-grown sauce, made in Winston- called Texas Pete. It's good on a barbecue sandwich or wings. Also popular on eggs, collards and fried fish. image
