Today on AppAddict - Radial 4 Works Best as an Automation Hub - I spent the afternoon experimenting with Radial 4, a rapidly evolving pie-menu app from independent developer Gustav Lubker of AppVerge. If you’re not familiar with pie menu apps, they present a circular menu divided into sections (or slices),... social.lol

Today on AppAddict - Resurf – A Well-Designed (Almost) Everything Box - Resurf is a clever new app, currently in beta, with a lot of potential. This is one of those “I needed an app to do X, so I built one” projects; the difference is that it was built by a design engineer who clearly understands macOS... social.lol

Today on AppAddict - My Stream Deck Setup for macOS Automation - I get a lot of use out of my Elgato Stream Deck. It’s one of the best hardware purchases I’ve made in a long time. I just found out Dr. Oliver Sachs, author of books like Awakenings and The Man Who Mistook His Wife for A Hat, used a technique called "just making shit up" in his supposedly non-fiction books. 100% asshole move. People read those to get insight and hope. https://www.thetimes.com/comment/columnists/articl... social.lol

ChatGPT told me to put olive oil in my ears, but it did not specify whether I should use extra virgin or light, and I see now why some people don't trust it.

Haven’t been able to hear from my right ear for a week. Went to the doctor on day 1 and she prescribed drops, said my ear canal is swollen completely shut. Pharmacy tells me that my insurance requires pre-approval. Denied. 50% hearing loss and no treatment. Kinda pissed.

Feta cheese and watermelon are incredible together. The sweetness of the melon and the salty cheese make a perfect combo. Try it! image
