Given that announcement of a new dot hack game, I feel like doing a rewatch/replay of the franchise.

The AI adaptation of Hideshi Hino's Living Corpse is a peculiar work. First, it's a feature length film. This makes me wonder what the budget for the film is. People on Twitter talk about spending thousands, but they could only generate a five minute video. Since this is a feature length film, it must be pretty costly. Strangely, even though the voice actors are Japanese (Hiroshi Tamura, Shigeru Saiki, Hinako Saeki, Shiro Sano, Tsuyoshi Toshiki, and Junji Ito), it's in English. I'm not sure why they didn't use an AI voice bank to produce Japanese voices. Perhaps they're trying to secure a brief American theatrical release. I'm wondering how the credits are going to look going by the website the only humans are the Voices, the Actor Models, The director:Takeshi Sone and the producer. Are they the prompters or were there others who helped touched up the film? Judging by the AI credits it still looks like a far cry of just having one tool be used to make a film much less a full length feature: Script: ChatGPT Video Creation: Kling, Higgsfield, Veo, Sora, Dreammachine, Domo, Runway Image Creation: Midjourney, Flux, Nanobanana, Seedream, Lovart, Freepik Sound & Effects: Elevenlabs, FishAudio Music: Suno If it does get an American release I'll check it out. It was a pretty solid State of Play. They showed a bunch of new games that piqued my interest. I can't believe a new Dead or Alive game is being made. The Konami Direct in the middle slowed things down a bit, but ending on a God of War Origins game was pretty hype. Nice to see the first full "Team" for Tokon. So each reveal going forward so be full Team reveals? Might be interesting to what is going to be next.This year is shaping up to be a good one for game diversity. #Gamestr

There's some interesting news: the company Shizuku AI, which is behind an AI Vtuber, just passed a seed round with A16z. With all the hype surrounding AI agents, I suppose they think it's a good investment, but I'm not so sure. The novelty of Neuro Sama seems like something that can't be replicated.

Interesting the new game is Age 1000 the same year Dragon Ball Online took place. I wonder if they got Toriyama to redo the year setting of DBO to incorporate stuff from super and daima. If this is a new MMO that'll be crazy! #Gamestr

I can't believe it! A cute girl x financial trading anime is being made! It's the perfect anime for the times. With so many people wanting to become financially literate, this could be the perfect way to get them interested. It's almost like that anime visual novel where a waifu helps you file your taxes. Definitely something I want to check out since I've been personally leaning to watching this type of content. I can already see finance bros and degen weebs making this their profile picture when it comes out. It could also be an easy way to engagement bait people with "How to Trade Like Kurumi" threads on X. The Liquidation poster is cementing Kurumi as an unofficial mascot for the trenches. #Animestr

This video showed up in my recommendations, and it was a solid watch. The novelty of filming oneself cooking chicken parmesan during an apocalypse is amusing, but the self-therapy at the end really resonated with me, so I'll give the rest of the videos a shot. After watching a few Kairyu Crocodile videos, I realized that I prefer recorded content to long streams when it comes to Vtubers. This is probably due to the evolution of my media diet. Listening to more audio dramas and watching more TV shows has kind of fueled a want for a quick in-and-out experience instead of having a long stream on all day. Didn't realize how serious Sony is taking cryptocurrency. Looks like they're going to create an onchain platform for to earn money developing apps for the Afeela car. This obviously makes so much sense as to why Sony Bank is trying to open a crypto neobank here in America this year. Strange that Sony seems to be making a tighter, unescapable ecosystem than Apple! Finally, Lucius is dead! This batch of Black Clover chapters was a great read. Some of my concerns were addressed in this section. Having everyone see Astra directly challenge Lucius's ideal and reaffirm his existence makes it believable that the citizens would also want Astra to be the Wizard King, along with Yuno. It was satisfying to see Noelle get a hit in on Lucius. I would have preferred the consequences of the arc to be permanent, but that's part of what a Wizard King is supposed to be. The light that protects the kingdom. It's a fitting conclusion within the story existing themes that it works. I've had major issues with Lucius as a character, so seeing his betrayed expression at the end was the icing on the cake. It seems like the next batch should be the end of the series, unless a small conflict occurs. I can't see it being prolonged anymore. It's been a fun ride. #Mangastr

Marty Supreme was a great film. It's one of those films that truly gets things. Believing in yourself to that degree is dangerous, but it's powerful. You have to fight for your destiny, even if the whole world is against you. And the ending was perfect. It's definitely going to be one of those films that's part of the new-age guy canon.
