Started a book club to serruptitiously orange pill my friends. Lost half of them after Mandibles, but then laid low for a while before suggesting @Lyn Alden's Broken Money. Had the club meeting last week and my boy who was curious but on the fence about Bitcoin was spitting fire and dropping facts about mining energy use, self custody, the circularity of proof of stake, the history of money and the Austrian argument for gold. My compliment to pay the author is how well-rounded, comprehensive, and grounded my friend was after one book. He's smart enough to know he doesn't know everything, but he is well on his way to being a fully-fledged bitcoiner after this superb book. Brilliant!
