In the beginning of Bitcoin AI image creation, no one knew how to depict Bitcoin in images. So I spent a lot of time thinking about how to incorporatet bitcoin in images, scenes to make, symbolism to use. One such idea was packing your bags with Bitcoin before going on a journey, and the scene was set in a wooden cabin. A later idea was a group of explorers going into unknown terrain and then discovering a mountaintop with the Bitcoin symbol on it. The "going on a journey" concept was these two kinda merged together in a Lord of the Rings style vibe.

Shitcoin and suitcoin creep are both part of the cultural erosion of Bitcoin. Keeping the flame alive is the attempt to hold back the dilution of the principles and ethos of Bitcoin, and solidify the base layer before it can be eroded away by greed and grift. Reducing "Bitcoin usecases" is not just about reducing the cost to run a node. I think the most important part is to make Bitcoin as simple and close to perfect money as possible. This should make intuitive sense. We want as few malincentives as possible, as little bloat as possible, and as few unknown unknown as possible. As I wrote in this post years ago: The difference between 100% corruption resistance and 99.9% corruption resistance is *complete erosion*
