Windows Media Player 11 was peak aesthetic for me. Should try an hunt for a VLC player skin to try and bring that back.


Also remember when looking up videos back in the day it was either watching something on veoh.com or pirated cartoons with, I think, a windows media player plugin to watch straight from the browser.
I remember back in the day if I wanted to watch a video podcast I'd open up the Miro media player and there would be a directory for them. It would automatically download the newest show I was following. I remember Sony's PSP had that as a feature to.
