The biggest surprise at #bitcoin2024 was @mcshane constantly saying #nostr wrong.

When I got into #bitcoin, everyone hated the government and wanted to build around them. What I see now from a great many bitcoiners is really sad. Some of you have chosen clout and NGU over the revolution and it's kind of sickening, tbh. It is what it is, and it sucks.

Hey, #nostr, why is zap.stream dead every time I check it? It's such a cool idea but it's always dead. Is it because you have to pay to stream? I admit, paying to stream to zero people feels bad no matter the cost. Maybe it's better to just embed a twitch or YouTube stream and then have a zap overlay accessible on zap stream instead of actually streaming on the zap stream servers? Thoughts, @Kieran?

Nostr is great but you people still using custodians for the zap stuff need to stop being lazy.
