Happy to be here with you all
In what ways are you using AI in your life on a regular basis? Want to take more of a dive and I need some motivation. Let me know, PLEASE!! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Couldn’t imagine spending hours of my day arguing with other people on twitter. Especially arguing with other bitcoiners. Quit pissing yourself off! That ain’t healthy for you. Go touch grass. Remember we all share the same goal.
Twitter has completely morphed into Facebook/Tik Tok. It just shows the same accounts over and over again with videos designed to keep you scrolling. Congrats, I guess.
Majority of population will continue to view bitcoin as a failed tech project until they can purchase burgers at every restaurant, gas at every gas station, etc. All the while failing to realize it will first monetize as purely a store of value asset on its way to mind-blowing exchange rates. HFSP 🤷🏼‍♂️
If we didn’t have bitcoin would we ever know Dylan Leclair? The guy has one of the best minds I’ve ever witnessed and is fantastic at articulating his ideas.
Recently I’ve noticed more and more that satoshis are my unit of account. Within the last week I’ve priced a bonus in sats, a vacation, even a gas station coffee. I’ve always done this *to an extent* since becoming a laser-eyed maxi. But now it’s second nature and even subconscious. Just a fun observation of my life that I thought I’d share.
Imagine the nihilism in the Chinese youth. 20%+ unemployment and 45%+ forced to return home after college. Heartbreaking stuff. image
The more I run through it in my head, the higher the probability I assign to a government confiscation of some kind towards American citizen retirement accounts. The honeypot of untaxed gains will be too tempting to pass up amongst skyrocketing debt and, what I believe, fewer and fewer nation-states and corporations to buy that debt. Potential actions: 1. Lower the age of RMDs on pretax money 2. Increase tax rates for withdrawn pretax money (think ordinary income + 5%, for example) 3. Changing the rules on Roth distributions. Complete rug pull of the rules. Gains now taxed at x% This is just a hunch. Not saying it’s going to happen for sure, but the probability rises every day. It’s another reason to diversify tax buckets.
Homesteaders: What’s one of your favorite items to have around that doesn’t get the love it deserves? Thinking of birthday gifts for my friend. #grownostr #homesteading
Last week or so, Alex Gladstein shared screenshots of a report from TD Ameritrade that appeared to be very bitcoin-friendly. I can’t find it anywhere. Has anyone found it or am I not the only one?
One of these is not like the other. I don’t know about you guys but I think Chat GPT *might* just be programmed with some biases.
KPMG’s report on bitcoin’s role as an ESG imperative is huge. Seems like every talking point was taken directly from bitcoin twitter and podcasts, then wrapped in a KPMG marketing deck. Normally I’d scoff at that sort of copy-and-paste job, but this is fantastic. A report like this legitimizes bitcoin wayyyyy more than listening to “shadowy super coder” podcast guests saying the exact same thing. The tides are turning, y’all.
If you work out regularly and you DON’T work out in the morning, you’re missing out. Starting the day out with alllll the endorphins.
I had a coworker “blockchain, not bitcoin” me today. Almost slapped him through Zoom.
Listening to Odell talk about Nostr vs. Twitter is all the motivation you need to open up your Nostr client and start exploring a bit.
