I follow a bunch of homesteaders on Nostr which makes my timeline infinitely more wholesome than twitter right off the bat. Lots to learn from these incredible people!

Sometimes I have to double-check myself that I’m not getting swept up in bitcoin’s hype/craze/moonboy predictions. Then I work through everything again for the 10,000th time and ultimately conclude that bitcoin is the most logical store of value asset we’ve ever seen.

We should all strive to invest in our communities the way Peter McCormack has done. This is one of my primary objectives for my bitcoin stack.

Last week I had “the talk” with my wife. I sat her down. Looked her in her eyes. Spoke in a slow, serious voice. “Bitcoin is about to go up so fucking much. No one realizes how fucking high this is going to go. I need you to be mentally and emotionally prepared for me to not sell a single sat at $100k.” Told her she could sell a portion of her stack at $100k but nothing is coming from mine. And she understood 100%. I picked a great one.

The sweet irony of the Bitcoin Whitepaper being published the same day as the 95 Theses is not as appreciated as it should be. It has to be one of my favorite aspects about bitcoin’s story.

Today was my first “holy shit I spent $70 at the grocery store and barely got anything” moment and I almost downloaded Tik Tok just to yell about it

One of the things I’m most excited for about owning a home is starting every morning standing barefoot in my backyard. Apartment in the concrete jungle no longer!

Bitcoin is so fucking obvious to anyone willing to open their eyes. We are about to see the mother of all money prints with the private sector slowing down, more funding for wars we don’t want nor need, and civil unrest hitting a fever pitch. A lot more eyes are going to be opening very soon.
