That portable website would hold #woodworking and #construction techniques to create your own shelter along with its benches, tables and chairs, #electronics and #solar and non-solar energy producings, #computer stuff and #programming how-tos to allow a sovereign digital life and #communications, for ensuring staying in touch with fellow bootstrappers, #philosophical ideas for the freedom hungry; and most importantly home #brewing techniques for producing your own alcohol, #cooking for sustaining a happy, nutritious life, #survival manuals for not-dying while fighting for your own freedom, including #heating techniques from masonry stoves to on-the-road #heating ad-hoc low-tech solutions, #biking and #transportation #DIY ideas and #money and #bitcoin stuff to prosper with abundant optionality. Such a website would be dedicated to bootstrappers around the world, with experiments, visuals, and sketches that, well organized, will hold all the necessary information to move around this world as a free spirit. That website would be compactable as a PDF and EPUB for its free abundant distribution. Translated or translatable to as many languages as possible it won’t aspire to holding all world information, but a very concrete set of pages that will make everyone reading it capable of living a self-sustainable, free-as-in-freedom self-sovereign fucking life. This will be one bootstrapper legacy. Each section could be shareable, highlightable, and zappable for sustaining the project alive. The pdf will never be paywalled but will appreciate your collaboration to the cause. Imagine that portable website surviving its original author, being inherited and taken forward by random bootstrappers around the world who collaborate with improving its set of techniques and their efficient organization. That is the idea. A clear and complete guide to freedom: a website, a PDF, a raft. A hope. The idea will be lived by its authors and the result will become this website. If manuals, guides and texts can sustain a happy bootstraped life for 6 months it will be considered a good starting point. A lifetime is the goal.
