We are launching an email aliasing/forwarding service - mailx is now available for beta testing. First invites are out for IVPN Pro users with 1+ year time on their account. Log in on ivpn.net and navigate to Mailx beta tab to get started. We have 5 IVPN vouchers to give away to privacy-minded folks here on Nostr. If you are not eligible or don't have an IVPN account but want to test mailx, message us via DM here or email us -> trial at ivpn.net. Opsec warnings before you reach out: 1. Nostr DMs can reveal the fact you messaged us through unencrypted metadata (depends on client used) 2. We will send you an individual voucher code, which in theory could be used to tie your IVPN account ID with your email or nostr npub. In practice, we don't do this - we store the redeemed voucher code for 30 days for account recovery purposes (default process for vouchers).

Let's assume we have some product ideas for IVPN customers to test, invite-only. We start a chat community to get feedback and offer a place to discuss our service, privacy etc. Which platform would you prefer? - Needs to support multiple channels - Ideally self-hosted - Discord and Telegram are no-go due to privacy policies Options: - Matrix - IRC - Nostr based solution which we have not heard about - Something else

We are evaluating running a Nostr relay on IVPN infra (compartmentalized). It would make sense as relay preference appear to be a function of sufficient trust and privacy guarantees. The risks are not clear yet, ie. how it would affect our company threat model and established/stess-tested legal guardrails. Any suggestions for deep-dive documentation on running a relay?
