I hate banks so much right now 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬I should be able to send money to family and dependants in Mexico without undergoing the 3rd degree and having to justify over and over again source of income. Viva la revolución Bitcoin!

Guilty pleasure: Langres cheese, FR
During the aging process, the smallround, made from pasteurized cow’s milk, is washed with brine and rubbed with annatto, a natural orange-red dye derived from a tropical tree. Cheesemakers have been producing Langres since the 18th century. In USA you have to pay significantly more compared to what it cost in France but it is so worth it!

Going to Botswana 🇧🇼 for work for the first time end Aug. I have a free weekend to do something. Anyone has pointers on where to go and what to do?
Good morning everyone. Sleepless is Seattle since 2am. I could share a pitch black photo of now or one from yesterday. Easy choice 🙂!

Modern communion!

Although Storm lost today it was so much fun to get to see them up close.

Cultural adaptation: after 2 months of travel the best way to make transition back home was to go and see Seattle Storm play.

Popcorn for breakfast while groceries get delivered was excellent choice.

Finally made it home to Seattle!!!

Au revoir Paris!

Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) and Andy Warhol (1928-1987) exhibit at https://www.fondationlouisvuitton.fr/fr/evenements/basquiat-x-warhol-a-quatre-mains oh so worth it!

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution. It took 2 years, 2 months and 5 days to build and was a technical and architectural achievement. Not a bad way to decompress walking around it after a crazy week.

Mediterranean food is delicious at the Madame Reve Café that is in the heart of Paris. My cappuccino was to die for.

Paris day 1. Loads of work but comité via the Arc de Triomphe Paris which is 162 feet tall and 150 feet wide was fun. The Arc de Triomphe was the biggest arch in the world until North Korean built a bigger arch inspired by it in 1922. The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned by Napoleon I to commemorate the victory of France in the Battle of Austerlitz.

Good morning good people from somewhere in the air near Paris. Wishing everyone a spectacular day.

Congo river Kinshasa side. You can see Brazzaville on the other side. Brazzaville is the capital of the Congo, and so is Kinshasa. But they're capital cities of different Congo nations: the Republic of the Congo, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, respectively. The two African mega-cities are almost within shouting distance. Depending on your definition of capital they may be the closest capitals in the world.

DRC Kinshasa cemetery has the best byline “I was just like you” 🤣

This image from my second trip to DRC still hunts me 2 yrs later. Her toy is the DRC flag. It renews my commitment to my work but is also makes me so upset because I recall it every time I see a street child here and there are several in Kinshasa. One street child is one too many!

Congo river and Kinshasa skyline.
