No public record exists- but if you track OpenAIs funding, you can find the money. - OpenAI's entire purpose is to facilitate the short term goals of the US gov in controlling the proliferation of information to the public. And to give them specific leverage over public access to advanced AI. - Later on, multiple CIA members would join the board room of OpenAI. - This includes "former" clandestine operative-turned politician Will Hurd, who in 2021 argued in favor of the company and its pro-regulation stance. - I will shortly leak internal communications on this subject between Mr. Hurd and others, dating all the way back to 2015 and then forward.
