Nostr is a perfect example. It proves changing incentive structures does work. Does that mean anyone can snap their fingers and all the woes of the world will be gone and we'll never have to continue to adapt as new issues arise? Of course not. But if we can reduce harmful status quos even by a bit, why not try.
