GM… the content here is getting way better. I think we squeezed out a lot of noise, some people came out of hiding, and now we’re on a vibe upswing.
I got to zap a bunch of positive vibe gratitude GM posts this morning without leaving my “latest” default feed. Maybe it’s luck. Maybe it’s my follow list. Whatever. I don’t think this is possible elsewhere on the internet.
Super bullish on Nostr and GRATEFUL for all of you!!
Shorter, more regular updates coming to your long form feeds 🤙🏼
(Side note, pretty impressed by @Primal Studio. Smooth porting experience from Ghost)

Happy 4th my American friends. Grateful to be here with you as a resident, and therefore guest.
A fun and relevant bit of history: July 4th 1776 was only the DECLARATION of US independence. It took ~15 years of chaos and evolution before there was a functioning government (1789) and enforceable bill of rights (1791).
… but even pre-1776 there was what you can call the “gradually” phase. Enlightenment thought started spreading in the ~1740’s through figures like Locke, Montesquieu and Rousseau. The Colonial Elites were avid readers of their ideas.
That’s DECADES of discourse, conflict, trial, failure and compromise before the new paradigm really stuck.
We’re so early.
Hate to break it to you…
If you don’t want to trust your government, you’re going to have to trust the people around you.
Not blind trust but earned trust. Trust built on shared mission, clear values, and mutual accountability.
This is the price of freedom: trading top-down authority for bottom-up responsibility. It’s messier, slower, and human… but it’s the only real alternative.
The hard part isn’t rejecting control. It’s building something stronger in its place.
How do you cultivate trust at scale? How do you protect it when incentives shift and human nature creeps in?
That’s the work. I believe we can do it here.
