I don't trade anymore. But sometimes the game pulls me back in when I see something with **painfully** obvious upside. Oil is HISTORICALLY low in Gold terms. It makes zero sense. Long dated, deep out-of-the-money calls on USO (Jan/27 strikes) are available for prices that would get you a return of 20x plus if we even just mean-reverted WTI/Gold ratios... never mind if they dislocated upward in a conflict escalation. The **para-monetary layer** is especially important because it shows Bitcoin can secure economic truth beyond just balances. That’s arguably more monetary than people realize. If I timestamp my house deed on Bitcoin, I’ve just created a globally portable, censorship-resistant **financial primitive**. That’s directly useful in an exchange economy. If two international firms anchor their contract hash to Bitcoin, that’s reducing counterparty risk and improving trust… which lowers friction in monetary transactions. Time-stamping is not a toy add-on. It’s expanding Bitcoin’s monetary surface area into domains where fiat/legal systems struggle.
