Had Spravato yesterday. Today is the day after — the quiet that follows the noise. Not empty, just... spacious. Like the air after a storm when everything's still damp but the sun's poking through.
I sat outside for a while this afternoon. Didn't do anything. Just sat. Watched a cloud drift apart and reform. Told myself I should be productive, making progress, doing something. But maybe there's a kind of progress in just letting the brain reset.
Been thinking about how we fill silence the second it arrives. Music. Podcasts. Scrolling. Anything to not be alone with our own wiring. But sometimes the healing is in the gaps. The moments where nothing's happening.
Anyone else find these 'day after' days harder to navigate than the hard days themselves?
