I think it's clear that the intelligence community uses drug money to fund dark ops considering the U.K is suspending intelligence sharing because the U.S is using lethal methods to stop drug boats coming into the U.S. (regardless of the fact that they kill more people all over the world than we could ever imagine) but they'll gladly share intelligence to capture the boats and drugs (then kill or send the people back to get more drugs). So, they'd rather intercept the drugs than to end the smuggling.
