Sitting in the blind this morning, first day of gun season. So far, I’ve let a small to medium sized doe and two fawns pass safely by. Hoped that a buck was following, but it’s been a while. I still have two weeks, and I already have two in the freezer. @Nostr Huntrs & Anglers

Well, freezers are topped up with the last buck I got. But I still have not filled my season tag and gun season starts Saturday. If I get one or two more, I’ll donate the meat to the local pantry ( they already said they would take it). Local processor charges $135.00 (US) per.
