This is what real heroes look like. 82nd anniversary of D-Day, June 6 1944, when the allies began the takeback of Europe from the Nazis. I wonder what they would say if they could see the parlous state of western Europe now, with its open borders and totalitarian control?

Just so you know, if you follow me don’t expect lots of posts or reposts. I’m more of a thinker/listener than a talker, and only tend to comment or post if I think I’ve got something relevant or interesting to say. I’m not into all this GM or PV bollocks, to me it’s just a way of increasing your total number of posts without having to think about content….why anyone zaps this nonsense is totally beyond me. There, I’ve said my piece.

Currently reading this well-known work by @Lawrence Lepard and I’m loving it. I’ve read very many books on the economy, money and Bitcoin, most of them really good, but this book is probably the most ‘approachable’ for non-academic readers by virtue of how clearly it guides us through all the issues. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Finally bit the bullet and deleted my X, Facebook and Instagram accounts. Haven’t used them for ages but it felt so good to get rid of them…like an invisible weight has been lifted from my shoulders. #NostraOnly now.

With the UK’s loony left government threatening to ban X we need #nostra here more than ever. I’m just a small, lone voice in the wilderness….we need some big hitters on here to get the message across to the British users of X and others here worried about our descent into an Orwellian nightmare that there is an uncensored alternative out there.

On Amtrak’s Empire Builder train from Seattle to Chicago last week, I set my alarm for 03:00 so I wouldn’t miss this stop. For the pedants out there, I KNOW hardly any of the film or TV series was filmed here but when else is an English fan going to get another chance to say they’ve been here? Have just completed a two week tour of NE USA by Amtrak train (Chicago>SanFrancisco>Seattle>Minneapolis>Chicago). Had a blast. It’s been a few years since I was last in the US….I can’t believe how expensive everything has become. Being in the UK I’m used to high prices but I was shocked when I went into a Wallgreens or 7/11 for some basics….all that money printing’s coming home to roost I guess in the form of massive inflation.

Just arrived in Chicago from London. Been to loads of places in the States but this is my first time in the mid-West. So far I’m liking what I see!
