I’m having trouble with Zaps. I’ve linked my #Alby hub/wallet to my Lightning node on Umbrel and it works just fine on #Primal. I’ve done the same on #Damus and #Nostur but there’s no Zap button in the feed…so I can’t Zap people using these apps. What have I done wrong please?

Just read this, #BitcoinForTheSovereignIndividual by #AdamMerkle and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Easy to understand and with practical guidance for making your stack more anonymous and private, regardless of its size. It’s certainly prompted me to look more closely at UTXO management.

Just got my new #Bitaxe set up so should be mining my first block any minute now! 😆

We’re very early. To put it into perspective my standard zapp amount of 21 sats is more than the entire global BTC mining industry will earn PER BLOCK in 2120 after that year’s halving! Think about it….we’re currently zapping future generational wealth!

Unfortunately my plans to dominate the global BTC mining operation with my new #Bitaxe by the end of the day has hit a snag…I don’t have a US to UK plug adapter! Damm…foiled again! 🙄 #SoloSatoshi

I’ve found it very hard to concentrate on my “fiat mining” job today as every time I check the BTC price it’s made a new high…we’re watching history being made before our eyes and it’s mesmerising…not that I’m planning on selling. On the obverse, when the price was dropping over the past couple of years I conveniently ‘forgot’ to look at price charts for days on end 🫣

If you’re ever in the beautiful far south west of England come to Penzance and see this magnificent example of Egyptian revival architecture, dating from the 1830s. Even if you’re in London, jump on the Great Westen service from Paddington and ride it 5 hours all the way to its terminus in Penzance….its an experience in its own right, especially crossing from Plymouth/Devenport into Cornwall high above the River Tamar on the iconic Brunel bridge. There’s loads more to see in the area too, including the stunning St.Michael’s Mount, the harbour, Newlyn fish market and art scene. St.Ives isn’t far away either…a must for art lovers everywhere.

Just finished reading this book. It’s an engaging and interesting read, making the philosophical case for a world with Bitcoin.…well worth your time to read.

Keeping busy this afternoon securing my sats. This @seedor_io safe is a wonderful tool, and really easy to use, I highly recommend it.

Nostra feels so much more complete now that I’ve finally set up my Lightning ⚡️ wallet. Only took me the best part of a year and a half to get around to it 🐌
