It's surprising hard to make your home feed better than global when the latter is limited to paid relays only. IMO that's an indication of a good signal to noise ratio once the obvious spam is eliminated.
Finally realized you can customize the zap amounts in Amethyst by long pressing
Interesting point made by others that's worth reiterating: nostr is essentially "web3" but none of the web3 people seem to care about it, which begins to show what it is they actually care about
Has anyone considered running an ephemeral relay where notes are deleted after a certain period of time?
This might be useful for encrypted DMs where you don't want to worry about someone potentially reading your messages if your key happened to be leaked at a later date.
#[0] Can you check if my pubkey was added to orangepill.dev? I paid an invoice yesterday but still can't write to the relay
Does anyone else have an orangepill.dev subscription? I paid for mine yesterday and still see zero writes to their relay.
Pretty impressed with Magic Earth as a mobile navigation app. It's the only one I've found for Android that both works and isn't spyware.
If anyone pays this invoice I'll turn off filters and spend the next 20 minutes labeling spam

Why can't I post to orangepill.dev after paying for membership?
nostr clients are rapidly converging on excellence
Testing post to orangepill.dev
Are there any large relays that are publicly sharing event archives? I think this would be good for censorship resistance, as well as enabling the community to do interesting things with the data.
Anti-spam idea for nostr: many spammers seem to employ Sybil attacks where they post the same message from many pubkeys. So can similarity between messages across pubkeys be used as an anti-spam heuristic?
It's fun playing whac-a-mole against spammers on Amethyst
nostr already has better UX than proprietary platforms
