They were often decorated/designed by the 2-3 generation immigrant from France . Many of the most skilled students were sent abroad to learn (university). We then relied on the Craftsmanship of the new settlers . From Stained glass point of view , those churches are rarely decorated with them. The cost was prohibitive for farmers/fishers community .
