Stained glass restorer/creator artisan. & Hand tool woodworking. Why? Because restoring is being part of the BTC realm. Not buying sh”& that will be useless in 2 years … but like BTC will be there as an Heritage . Creating beauty through Light and Glass is being true to a code : beauty of well Made Human things. Let’s get glass crazy!

While the Left and Right are being manipulated by the “éminences grises “, small communities do what they can in order to salvage the Pass for the next Generation. Presentation done in order to raise fiat for restoration.

Mes amis , une église hors normes . Pourquoi ? La vivacité de la composition, la richesse éclatante des couleurs , la mixité entre verres opalescents (Tiffany-LaFarge) et les verres “cathédrales” (St-Just). Just enjoy .

New installation . All roundels are mouth blown by a splendid gentleman called Kimball in the USA. Design from my mentor . Build in the studio . Installation is tedious and complexe. No real photos or movies can give justice to the Glass & Light.

Another church analysis. Anglican. Quebec has many of those jewels. The Catholic Churches are often more imposing. The Anglican ones are …quaint. Wood (Mostly oak) and glass ARE the ones creating the atmosphere. The idea of having REAL money is totally in my ethos: creating high quality work , new or restored . The idea is “pérennité “ & “qualité “.

First example in North America of a church using “Dalles de verres”. Ste Anne de Beaupré. I like posting on NOSTR. No idiots no spam. Just very interested people.

Stoping the flow of Time in Gaspésie & Bas St - Laurent. The beauties of the First Churches in North America are jewels . They were often decorated/designed by the 2-3 generation immigrant from France . Many of the most skilled students were sent abroad to learn (university). We then relied on the Craftsmanship of the new settlers . From Stained glass point of view , those churches are rarely decorated with them. The cost was prohibitive for farmers/fishers community .
