She was accompanied by her mother and a representative of Hope With Bitcoin to Saint Luc Hospital in Cotonou, where she underwent consultations, an ultrasound, laboratory tests, and received the medications prescribed by the gynecologist. She has now received the first stage of her treatment, and her next follow-up appointment is scheduled for July 30, 2026. "At just 21 years old, she is suffering in silence not because her condition cannot be treated, but because she cannot afford the medical care she needs." 💔 Today, we're asking for your help. A young woman, just 21 years old, lives with her mother in extremely difficult conditions. She is living with genital warts (condyloma), an infection caused by certain types of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Condyloma usually appears as small wart-like growths around the genital or anal area. It can cause pain, itching, bleeding, discomfort, and significant emotional distress. Without proper medical care, the condition can worsen over time and continue to spread. Because of financial hardship, she has been unable to visit a doctor or begin treatment. At this stage, we do not yet know the total cost of her care, as she must first be examined by a medical professional. However, we estimate that 100,000 CFA francs (approximately $170 USD) would be enough to cover: • An initial medical consultation; • The first medical examinations; • Prescribed medications; • The beginning of her treatment. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to receiving the care she urgently needs. As always, Hope With Bitcoin is committed to complete transparency.
