💔 **A difficult update...** This is not the kind of update we wanted to share. A few days ago, we shared some beautiful news with you. After helping this young woman get treatment for her infection, we discovered during her medical check-up that she was pregnant. We were honestly so happy. We didn't expect that news at all. We felt like our little effort had turned into something much bigger. ❤ Unfortunately, things took a painful turn. After returning home, she made a sudden movement while going down the stairs. She skipped some steps, and shortly afterwards, she started having abdominal pain. She has sadly lost the pregnancy. 💔 Honestly, this one hurts. Just a few days ago, we were celebrating the news of a new life. Today, we are trying to support her through the pain and make sure she gets the medical attention she needs. Life can change so quickly. We know many of you followed this story, supported her, sent sats, shared our posts and encouraged us along the way. So we felt it was only right to come back here and tell you what happened. We don't have much to say today. 🧡 Story Time – 1 year ago today August 10, 2025. Exactly one year ago, we walked into the Cité des Anges orphanage carrying bags of food bought with Bitcoin. 228,897 sats became real meals for the children. A few days earlier, on August 7, we had also welcomed our first 110 chicks. This poultry project was launched with a clear goal: to create a sustainable income so that our humanitarian actions could become less dependent on donations. We were full of hope. But life had other plans. A few months later, an epidemic hit hard. We lost almost everything we had invested, the energy, the money, and a big part of our motivation. We were truly broken. So broken that we didn’t even have the courage to post an update about it at the time. Today, one year later, we can finally say it out loud. That failure hurt. But it also pushed us to find another way. After the loss of the poultry project, we decided to create our own brand. We launched an online store selling official Hope With Bitcoin t-shirts. On every sale, we receive 15% that goes directly into funding our charitable missions. This way, we can keep supporting children and orphanages while building our own financial independence.
