The really scary prospect of AI is not general AI (not happening), but that it will be able to churn out addictive content. The internet is already an addictive place, imagine it with much more of the content that gets you hooked. AI is not that good yet, but it's not that far from it, either.

GM, you can tell a tech will last if it consistently attracts young people. I have no idea how many young people use Nostr, but given that it's very different than other platforms, some cohort of young people at some point will make it popular. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but it's inevitable as long as it's around.
