On #netbsd, created just a root user, so create a user for myself with `useradd -m -G wheel matthew`
Installed #neovim with `pkgin install neovim`, which came with #Lua as a dependency, so now Lua is installed, too.
Just messing around to say I have made some progress towards my tech goals. The installer was no problem in ProxMox. I have done it before, so didn't have to look anything up. The NetBSD documentation is good, though, for finding things. Man pages are good.
Eventually, I'll try something more ambitious, such as installing the #Cinnamon desktop on NetBSD. For right now, I'm fine with messing around on the command line and learning how to use #pkgsrc and experiment with server software, notes and programming.
