The other day my missus asked some questions about my exes.. That’s always a fun conversation to have! Inadvertently, I came to realise - the quality of my relationships 100% correlated to whether those girls were on the pill or not. On the pill = bad relationship, without fail. Not on the pill = average or good relationships. On/off the pill = on we were shit, off we were much better. That last one was what got me ticking - 2 different girls, on/off the pill, and I can distinctly remember the good times correlating with when she was off it and the worst times was when she was on it. 🤔

Seeing Christmas be more broadly celebrated in Vietnam than in Australia was a shock to me. Seeing how they celebrate their Lunar New Year where people travel half a day or more to go spend time with family and the whole place shuts down for ~2 weeks was something else. Asia still values culture - they value something like Christmas more than ostensibly Christian countries. They value family completely differently. I could write a whole thread about just Tet music which is all about going home to see family; seriously impressive propaganda, feels like the West in the 80s where music was made to unify people. The West is no longer competing - they’re already done and they just don’t know it yet. It’s going to take generations and guillotines to undo the rot of the West and nobody seems ready to face that reality. Asia already ate pain, they’re going to Bradbury their way to the top just because they refused to dilute themselves and held fast to remain a coherent people.

Rupert Lowe is the first serious politician I have seen in my lifetime with both the balls and wisdom to be able to turn his country around. Maybe Bukele but I don’t know enough about El Salvador and don’t speak Spanish so can’t judge as well. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, France - they don’t have **anyone** of this calibre or conviction. Literally doesn’t matter which of the current options get into power, it will be more of the same. Lowe however is a lion amongst a mob of foxes.
