My not-an-expert 2 sats going forward: A) stablecoins acting as full reserve banks will create a drop in leverage over time, creating a rush out of speculative assets into yield bearing stablecoins. Dollar eats eats everything. B) Stablecoin issuers like Circle and Tether get mega filthy rich on treasuries yield and become shadow government style organisations. C) Bitcoin keeps on trucking as the permissionless alternative, price probably gets a bit more boring and gold-like. Not mutually exclusive theories.

With Nostr it's a direct value-for-value market. Post sick tricks, get sick tips (zaps). A content creator with ~10000 followers could post a new edit once a week, with a tip ratio of 1/20 viewers and an average tip of 10c and directly be paid $50. In a low cost of living areas this is a huge game changer. Increase the numbers a little and it gets to be a pretty viable source of income regardless of location. A world-class professional rollerblading would have ~50000 followers, and with the high quality of their content I would guesstimate a higher average tip value. 70c tips, 1/20 tipping ratio they would be pulling ~$1750 PER POST. Repeat every week, $91K per year.
